RE: 1997 Camaro ?
The price is a little high for that car. I just read on the forum about a guy that bought a 35th one for $5000 from a guy going to Iraq. He said the only thing wrong was a little paint damage. So keep looking there are a lot better deals out there.

RE: 1997 Camaro ?
For $5000 I highly doubt that 35th Anniversary was an SS.
The only reason $8800 is high is because of the miles and the questionable integrity of the car. In good shape at 60k or less I would say that is a fair price. Oh and if anybody knows of a hardtop 1997 SS for sale let me know. |
RE: 1997 Camaro ?
if you have 8,800, instead of talking someone down and getting a high mileage car, you're better off saving another couple thousand, which really isn't hard, and getting an ls1 with decent mileage (probably around 50k, maybe less). you'll be a lot happier in the end. I could go on cars.com right now an find an ls1 for about 9500 with 70k miles (and full exhaust, and CAI).
