Default 1994 Camaro Z28 ABS Problems.

Hey everyone. I have an intermittent ABS INOP light coming on. Sometimes it comes on after driving for a while. Sometimes it comes on right when I turn the key. Sometimes it doesn't come on at all. I had the codes read and got this:

I also looked up some troubleshooting on the scanner and the troubleshooting has me a bit confused. Its using the term "motor packs". Is that the wheel speed sensor? Someone help me out here. I'm sick of looking at this ABS INOP light.

For reference, my car has 3 channel ABS (no traction control) and it is a 6speed if any of that matters. All help is greatly appreciated!

Here's the troubleshooting info from the scanner. I have the ability to test all this, I'm just having a hard time understanding the language.

maybe gorn knows if the motor is in the brain box on the fender well or if its the sensor at the wheel. i had the brain box on my truck go and it did some strange stuff when braking, pulsing and sometimes going almost to the floor when braking.

Craby, I think the motor is part of the hydraulic valve body of the ABS system. I've attached portions of the service manual that are basically saying the same things as the pictures from the scanner does. These may help give some clarification to what the scanner pictures are trying to explain.

I do, but I don't wanna aimlessly replace stuff until it works and then find out it's a pinched wire lol

Did you ever resolve your abs issue. I am having the same issues and I was wondering what was the trick to fix it.

Nope. I checked all the wiring and it all looked okay. Only thing I can think of it had a bad wheel speed sensor on the front. I removed the abs relay so the abs is inactive. Problem solved.
