Smile 1995 z28 6speed

im 16 and just bought a 1995 z28 6speed camaro with lt1 . im making payments , and i pay my own insurance . for my senior project i was going to turn my lt1 into a lt4 but i was told i could port and polish my lt1 heads cheaper and get the same performance lt4 heads would give me. iknow some things about cars but i dont know everything could yall please help me and tell me the best way i can get more power out of my lt1 by doing motor work thanks.

yea pretty much. but to say a little start with bolt ons exhaust first then then the rest cai and all that jazz

Start with the "Where to start Modding" sticky at the top of this (4th Gen) section. For more specifics on heads etc. there was a thread just like this in the LT1 section. This info has been covered multiple times.

Has it ever crossed your minds, that maybe eventually, every possible question would be asked and answered here, and these tech sections will become just a "search and retrieve" area? Might have to start boning-up on the OT skills instead!

watch the language bud...just a warning to you...this is a family site and we don't like swearing here.

check in the lt1 section on here...also like slvr said, look at the sticky on top of this section. should be lots of good info for ya on where to start modding your car. hope you got deep pockets, because once you start modding you don't stop! haha
