1995 V6 to carburated V8...need some advice
I am an automotive technician for GM and i am 19 and currently in school finishing my GM training course, i own a 1995 V6 camaro with the t5 manual transmission, and i recently bought a carburated 350 crate motor off of my buddy and i want to put it into my camaro now, i have bought a stage 3 clutch for the tranmission as well so i dont need to do a t56 swap, but all i need to know is how much trouble this is going to cause me, and what else i need to take into consideration as im doing this engine swap...
Thanks,
Matt

Since You're a GM trained mechanic, I think You know how much work is involved, You just want verification. It's a lot of work and trouble, Cripes, You're changing everything including tne fuel system. Plan wisely for it's a long road.
this is true, and yes i do just want verification on everything!..lol but yeah considering i am changing alot of stuff over, i just needed some advice ya know
yeah but i have also bought a cowl induction hood just because of the clearance issue with the air cleaner so that should be no problem, are there any other issues i should take in consideration, just as the drive train, i also have a posi trac rear end that im putting in so that should take care of the drivetrain issue besides the driveshaft itself...
im staying with the T5 and im building it because i dont want an automatic transmission, i hate driving automatics they are no fun, thats why i bought a stage 3 clutch just so it will take the power of the 350 and its only putting out about 330-340 or so..but thats for now anyways..
haha yeah im hoping as well and if not i'll upgrade and go with the stage 4 clutch, but i found a t56 transmission for 875 bucks with free shipping out of a junk yard, and it has been steam cleaned, and inspected, so idk yet haha
