Would the RPO decal have B4C on it?

Yes your label should be on your drivers door or inside your glove box depending on the year of the car.

If you put your VIN into the form on Comprehensive Chevrolet, Saturn, GMC, Hummer, Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Geo, Dodge, Plymouth, Jeep, Chrysler, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda Truck, Mercedes VIN Decoder you can see all you RPO codes and towards the bottom you can select your options to see how many of them were made. For Instance my 93 was one of 3 made with 1LE, T56 and Medium Patriot Red.

I swear this thread is shaping up to be like that other thread where the guy put lambo doors on his fourth gen, and kept digging it up every once in awhile just to mess with people. DIE

Newbie,
Not sure if you still check this site. I am a new owner of a 1997 B4C camaro, color black. This was NYSP Troop L camaro when on the road. I am restoring to original NYSP road patrol for display purposes (saving a piece of history). I am looking to learn more about how rare this car is. Where did you find the 1 of 5 in black statistics?

thanks,
Steve

By Newbie I think you mean 1997ISPB4C, the term "Newbie" is a reference to how many post a user has. Most of the people that are signed up for this site are "Newbie" including you. FYI he has not login to this site for 5 years. This is the thread that will never die.

00 9 white and of those 7 went to el paso texas and 2 to Washington state.
01 4 white 1 pewter 1 blue and 3 black
02 14 white 2 pewter 12 silver 8 blue 62 black 2 maroon 7 sunset orange 18 red

Remember 02 Chevy made the B4C available to public so they could let GMMG make the ZL1 super cars which where all made from B4C body's.
I had a 94 teal SSP b4c. 6sp. After I hit 100k miles a friend helped me sup it up a bit. Chevy hot cam, headers, better muffler to let more air flow, Knocked out the inside of the cat, borla exhaust, K&N air filter, roller rocker arms. 95 had them 94 didn't, Thinner head gasket. 100 More hp over all. I bought it at Bob Mcdorman Chevrolet.. Only place around that was selling them. I was going in to order one and 3 showed up as I was talking to the salesman 1 was teal that wasn't already sold so bought it on the spot. Couldn't be driven in any snow. I used another car for winter and bad weather days. Would love to find it and buy it back lol.
