A regular long tube (read: Pacesetter) is going to go in a little easier than a tuned long tube (read: Kooks) due to the nature of having equal length tubes etc. The tuned headers usually have more gradual bends to get longer tubes to make better low end torque numbers, but that makes them a little harder to get in. Such is the nature of the beast. That said, the header install isn't fun, but it's not that bad, reserve a whole weekend for it. If you go for a non-tuned style header you should be able to get them both in from the top if you remove the valve covers and the starter. If you go for tuned there's no way you're getting them in from the top and have fun with the header bolts. You'll need to jack the car as high as you can get it and install the drivers side. Then you need to remove the starter, unbolt the motor mounts, jack the motor as high as you can get it and squeeze the passenger side in. It's not fun, but doable. I'm more than happy with my headers, and I haven't had any problems yet, no shaving of anything, no denting of anything...
