More than likely they're only looking for an SES light for the inspection, because the computer will trigger an SES light if the aft-cat O2 sensors detect the cat isn't doing it's job, they probably won't fail you for an ABS light.
As far as the V6's with posi, you need to find one that has the Y87 package, they'll have a posi. You can also determine the gear ratio by RPO codes GU4, GU5 and GU6, which are 2.72, 3.23 and 3.42 respectively.
