running rich. has pcm/ecu been tuned for the mods?

yes it has. Like 3 years ago. 15 k miles since then. Not sure if it may need another fine tuning.?

could be 02's are fouled. happens over time. then the plugs get fouled. have you taken a look at a couple plugs? havin a look at the 02's would be a good idea as well.

Souns to me like worn valve seals. So yes burning oil. If i was you id remove oil then inspect it. Then measure to see if you are really low. My buddys z measure almost full and when we removed the oil it only had 2qts. That was an lt1

^^^ carnage, did you read his first post in the thread? says oil level is fine and the oil looks good.

he said he changed his oil and then the problem started. Like i said ive had oil indicators lie to me more times than a politician

you were right on the money here Craby... it was my 02. Changed out the o2 sensor, spark plugs, new MSD wires and oil changed. Oil was still pretty clean.
Car doesn't blow black smoke anymore.
