I got my 96 Camaro z28 for 7k. It has 60,000 miles on it and it's in near perfect condition. Just keep looking. Craigslist, auto trader, vast, and yahoo autos. I found mine on yahoo autos.

alazar14,

It's easy to find an old post or thread if you know who wrote it. Find any post by that person and then left click on their name in that post. A drop down menu will appear with several options. One of the options is "Find all posts by xxxxxxxx" Click on that option and you're done. It took me 5 seconds and got me this:

As for spending anything like $11,000 to fix a 96 Camaro, well really, you'd be crazy to do that. I understand that the car has sentimental value but spending that kind of money to rebuild a car when you can one twice as nice for less than half the money is nuts. Unless you're the owner of Papa John's Pizza and can affor to spend $250,000 to buy back the 71 1/2 Z28 that you sold for $2800 in 1983:

Park the old Camaro in a garage and drive it a few times a year for the memories. Buy a better one for half the money and use that as a commuter car.
