what do you guys like to do first to the car in restoration?

 

First have a plan.
Second have a savings account.

 

true that. i would start fixing up the outside.

 

i thought about when i get a garage , pulling the engine, trans and interior and wiring . and basically just building my own car from scratch. thanks for the advice.

 

What you can do is
1 get a garage
2 pull the engine and get the engine bay done
3 install the engine and get it running well
4 body and paint
5 interior
6 drive it and pick up chicks!
I figured interior for near the last because no matter how hard you try to keep it clean while you word you will get grease and dust in it.
