hay guys i have a 91 camaro with a 450 in it and a 700 r4 what im wanting to know is if u put a th 350 in it can i leave the arm off and not worry to much about it i know about the relocation bracket but its 300 bucks lol can i leave it off and not **** it all up or what

HAY 91. No, you HAVE to keep the torque arm connected, it keeps the pinion yoke from wanting to lift. Without it, the rear axle will wrap itself up and around like a pretzel.
You won't even make it to the end of your street without tearing out the driveshaft, for starters.

i want the 350 to but im out of money right now so im haveing to put a 700r4 in im going to the junk yard today since im poor lol and im going to find me a good one to last till i get the money to rebuild a 350 and get the relocation bracket but alot of people tell me i can build a 700 to work like the corvette ones do is that possible cause i want the car to drive ok and take it on trips but when i let into it i want it to fly u know what i mean i know u can put the corvette survos in but what else can i do to it

Like microkid said, the th350 is a step back.... 1st you won't have overdrive which is a fuel saver at cruising speeds especially if you have a high gear ratio. 2nd you won't need a cut driveshaft. 3rd. the 700r4 has a lower 1st gear than the th350. and lastly they can be built from mild to wild even a very very mildly build 700r4 can take whatever a mildly built 350 can throw at it.
