throttle cable
 

hi i just have a quick question, my brother has an 84 camaro that had a sbc already swapped in it. the problem is it was originally a v6 car and now with the sb swapped in the v6 throttle cable has broken and has given plenty of issues with it being too long. so should i just buy a lokar v6 cable to replace it or try to find a v8 pedal assembly. also its carb'd if that makes a difference.

just go to a junkyard and get a cable and carb bracket from a v8. i think the tbi setup will work as well, but im not sure on that.

I've had trouble wih my cable breakin on my 92 Z28 TPI. You should just be able to get one for a small block an work just fine. The only place i could find one for my car was YearOne, all auto stores i went to didn't have the right one. An YearOne was an Original GM part.
