I'm about to install a th350 trans using the hurst install kit #5500001. I was just wondering if anyone out there has used this and can give me a heads up on any problems I might run into. I already got the kickdown cable so help in adjusting that would be much appreciated too.

 

Pretty straight forward if you follow the instructions. Just be very careful when adjusting the cable to make sure it travels through all gears selections, and goes fully into park. If you manually put the tranny in park, then put the shifter into park position, the linkage should connect right up if everything is properly adjusted. From there it should all work.
