can anyone explain to me exactly how sequential fuel injection is different from tuned port injecton? is it better?, i mean it obviously is, i'd just like to get a couple opinions as to why the camaros switched over with the birth of a new generation.

 

Basically, SFI fires (opens) one injector at the time according the firing order of the engine. TPI fires the injectors in a batch mode, one bank at the time.
