Default RS lacks power

I have a 92 Camaro RS 5.0 Auto and it lacks power. It sounds fine and seems to run and shift normal, but when I try to floor it, it just takes it's time speeding up no massive kick down. It also will run to about 240 degrees before my electric fan will come on.(stock gauge)reading. And also when I come to a turn or a stop the motor will die. Can you help??
Parts replaced so far:
Thermostat
radiator
fan switch
plugs

Try to flush the cooling system, new air filter, fuel filter and a tune up.

Well I just put in the radiator and ran it and filled it at the same time thinking that would help with the air inside if any. I also changed the plugs, but I should go ahead with the wires as well. I just didn't want it to start nickel and dimeing to death. Could it be the timming? I did adjust the dist as it was running to see if that helped and it didn't.
Thank you for you fast reply!

It could be the timing, but it also can be a simple fuel filter, mine would die when I hit the gas until I changed the filter. Ps dont forget to vote in the may ride of the month

could be the fuel filter or pump as 454 said, but to me it sounds like your Torque converter solenoid is going bad or allready bad, its not engaging/disengaging when you speed up or slow down.

did you bleed the cooling system of air, should be a little bronze valve on a radiator hose that you open till the air bleeds out, and then when a steady amount of coolant comes out with no bubbles you should be set.

If the transmission does not shift down when you floor it, you may want to check the adjustment on the TV/kick down cable.

I just changed the wires and the coolant temp sensor and it's not much better. I have drained the system of air and still no change. I know it's a TBI, but I still should have more. When it is floored it will kick down, but it is short and feels like it is holding back.
Thanks for all your reply's!

You think the distibutor is bad? The whole thing or just the cap and rotor?
