Rockers

RE: Rockers
I don't know from experience, but they are made for different heads, different size valves, and a different angle of valve. I'd question why anyone would do that even if they would fit (I'd be inclinced to think not). I would expect all sorts of problems particularly since the rockers are the one poit in the LS7 that has given some owners problems.
Anyone serious about changing rockers will change out to aftermarket shaft mounted rockers and along with new lifters, etc: I use Jesel's Pro line.

RE: Rockers
It's possible to put LS7 rockers on an LS1, providing you have the correct diameter studs to mount them on and have a set of valve covers to fit them under. I'd assume that the LS7 has a more agressive rocker(1.75:1 maybe?) as opposed to the stock rockers, so it will produce more valve lift with the same size cam, so you can get more HP out of them.

RE: Rockers
Actually, the LS7 rockers are the one part of the LS7 that has given problems. The retainers were breaking or something -- I'll have to ask as I really didn't pay attention when I was discussing it at the track with some folks at the corvette garage.
