no u couldnt even order that. gm did not put a 5speed behind a 350 bcuz it could not hadle the torque which is y they dropped it for the 6speed. they didnt even make it an option cuz they knew ppl would get pedal happy which in turn would explode the tranny under warrenty. thus costing gm more money.

*sigh* I recently read in Hot Rod Magazine (editors note or something like that) where they were talking about the upcoming 2010 Camaro. In the comments he said that it would be nice if GM offered a 427 in the new car, since (his words) GM never offered a 427 in a camaro before. copo anyone?

i now more about irocz than anything else in this world. tell your friend that in 1985 the iroc was made it came with a 305 tpi and had a 4 speed automatic, or a 5-speed manual. in 1987 the 350 tpi came out. it had 700r4 4 speed auto with overdirve. the 350 tpi was NEVER produced with a manual. this is because in the 80's it was a bad era for muscle cars, while the iroc was one of the best chevy could not make a manual transmission that could handle the amount of bhp and torque that the 350 tpi produced. a stock 350 made 245 bhp and 375 ft lbs of torque. the manual could not handle it. if you saw a manaul in 350 iroc it was put there by the owner.
