got the for a job the people put new distributer wires plugs car runs like tooth off . put #1 cyl. top dead center where should the rotor be pointing????

 

the rotor should be pointing at the postion of cylinder 1 if one is at tdc. draw a line down the cap and onto the bottom of the dizzy to mark cylinder one, then line up the rotor with that mark. how many degrees of timing do you have set into it?
