I wasn't sure where to post this, however since it lets water into my motor, I figure hey why not post it here? Anyone have any idears on where i can purchase new seals for the rs plus z28 induction hood? I had to replace the throttle body cus it rused out, and it also let water into my motor and made it hydro locked. I've found weather seal sets, but when i ask the vendors, it doesn't include the rare hood induction seals any idears let me know.

 

1Aauto.com maybe? What is a "rs plus Z28 induction hood? Are you refering to the Cross Fire Injection hood with the flaps that open?

 

yeah thats correct, i got the rs from the bumper.

Well some one must have replaced the bumper or the decal. There was no RS for the years that had the Cross fire. Its a Z28 option.
Have you also check for universal seals? They have them in JCWitney.com. You may be able to find the correct shape to use and cut it to length and glue the ends together.
