As was said, nothing.... no matter what, will replace experience. At some point, on winter roads, being in a RWD car (whether V6 or V8) the back end WILL break loose, even if you are being careful. I grew up in N. Michigan and spent many days waiting for someone to come pull me out of a ditch.

Don't let all this discorage you though. I would hate to tell ANYONE that they shouldn't get a Camaro. But if you do decide to get one..... listen to older drivers, get a good chance to get to know the car, and make sure to learn how to drive and react..... not just assume you know.

What do your parents say about you getting one?

First car was an 85 z28. Taught me how to drive in winter real well. Also learned how to climb hills sideways while the non limited slip cars are stuck at the bottom. lol.
