Help with exhaust

Hi I'm new to the site and I have a 92 Z28 with a 5.7 TPI and I have duel cats I want to have true duels does anyone have a true deal set up on there car if so can you show some pics of it.

true duals are expensive, difficult to run, offer no performance gain, but can be done. theres a few threads here with people who used oval pipe to make it work and when they were done, it made only a slight change in sound. if you want good flow, just upgrade to a 3" cat back. if you are building a 383, there is a 4" exhaust if you are going to be making more than 500 hp

I would agree with Micro. I have a 383 in my 87 that makes close to 500 @ the flywheel and I gave up on true duals real quick. I have hooker shorties, with a custom made "Y" 3" going to a high flow cat then 3" all the way back to a flowmaster 40. The sound is more subdued than my 67 mustang with a 289 that made about 290 hp, but is true dual 3" all the way back with no cat. The floor pans, trans, and rear end assembly does not lend itself to an easy true dual set up. If this is a stockish motor, then an upgrade to cat back is the cheapest bang for the buck.
