Not bad for the price, but I would wrap them to cut down on heat.

how do i wrap them? and is that a problem specific to these headers or all headers? Is it going to be okay for me to run just headers for a while? Im now broke after buying a tach (that i cant figure out how to put in ) and a headlight

Wrap them with the heat tape, when you get time. All headers get verry hot, so just make sure everything is clear of them...If they come close to the starter, I would at least get a heat sheild for it, it will save your starter and they are only a few bucks.

oh and i will be shipping off for paris island in a couple of months and no one i trust can drive a 5 speed( i really would rather not have to buy a new clutch after i teach my girlfriend to drive it) what are the general rules to follow when leaving a car for 13 weeks or so any ideas or suggestions would be helpful

Mine sits all the time, just make sure to add the gas stabil to it, and keep it is a weather friendly place. as long as all the fluids are somwhat fresh 3 months isn't all that long.
