what headers would be good for my 305 h.o. any opinions would help

Do you or are you keeping theAIR pump? If so then the Edelbrock TES

1 5/8 dia stainless steel or coated headers. Unless you want to replace them in couple of years. Search for a brand and price you are willing to pay, but avoid the real cheap ones. I have a complete Stainless Steel system on my car from the Headers to the tailpipes (SLP by the way).

Oooh . . . SLP is niiiice!

Next question: Does it really matter if you make sure to keep the emissions fittings? Do they make simulators to plug into the harness to fool the sensors or is there a way to bypass them? I would love to get rid of my emissions crap altogether, but I hope to move back to a real state soon, and they tend to test these things there. lol
