hay all well good news i got my tranny today had to get it out of the junk yard but when i pulled it i looked where the shaft comes out to go into the engine and the seal was new so i was wondering what else was replaced so i pulled the pan off and all of it was new and has a shift kit in it isnt that some **** i got a great tranny lol well i do have a question at the junk yard the put a hole in the tranny to drain it but they put a rubber plug in it and it took me a min to get it out fits reayy good in it will this be okay or do i need to replace the tranny any ideas any of u get one like this or what i think it will be okay but not sure let me know

I take it you mean the hole is in the pan? A rubber plug will likely blow out once the fluid gets hot to soften it, and with pressure against it.
So what did you get, a 350 or 700?

also when i got to the junk yard i knew they only had 2 or 3 camaros that would work with mine after i found out that none of them had trannys i went after the firebirds and with luck i found one a 92 and it had the tranny it came out of a v 6 and a guy there that was a tranny guy told me it would work with my 350 since it was the same bolt pattern so if it wasnt for this guy i wouldnt have found this tranny thank that man lol

I hate to tell you this, but you're gonna want to go find that "tranny guy" and give him a swift kick in the nuts.
The v6 bellhousing bolt pattern (other than the 4.3 that wasn't in an f body) is smaller than the v8. It isn't going to bolt up.
