Found IROC-Z Camaro 1986 and have questions, please input
I've found a 1986 iroc-a and it has 54000 miles seems to be in good shape, it has been converted for 305 tpi to 350 carburated and everythingis in pretty good shape, the paint job is fine, tires good, has aftermarket enkei rims, aftermarket stereo interior could be better but it's ok, has 5 speed manual and I'm not sure what carb it has, how much do you think it's worth and what fuel do I need for this car? Thanks
Pretty tough to call it without pictures but typically they run $1500-$4500 depending on condition and mileage but that even varies quite a bit geographically.
Then some exceptional cars will bring a lot more of course.
Best bet is to look in the trader mags and online, ebay cars that have sold to see what they went for, hemmings, auto trader etc.
No way to tell what she'll need for fuel without knowing what is in the motor,I'd try regular first and if she pings and diesels on it you'll know you need higher octane fuel.

Ok heres what it said
The car is a 1986 Z-28, 5 speed manual. It does not have the 305 TPI it has been changed over to a carburated 350. Everything on the car works as far as lights and horns and everything needed to pass inspection. The car runs and drives great and has lots of power. It has aftermarket Enkei rims. Aftermarket racing steering wheel, Dual Flo Master exaust, It has a 4" Dvd player radio and after market speakers. Aftermarket decals on the car and has been repainted. The interior could be in better shape...The car looks pretty good from the outside. As of right now the car is on a donut on one of the front tires due to a blow out, I have two like new tires to replace both front tires with and the rim to make the matching set. The car also comes with a aftermarket racing tach. The clutch is good, the transmission is good, this car has never broke down on me. One of the two tags just expired and Im uncertain of which one.

Not a bad look'n car from what I can see in the small pics, have to wonder about the mileage if it's real or been rolled over.
Seems like awful low mileage for so many changes,a 50K car should usually be pretty damn original unless it was abused.
I don't think I'd pay much over $2000 for it in this economy.
I gave $2K for my '93,drove it home but have since spent another $2K to get everything right with it.
Pretty much expect to do that with any used car in that price range.
Well it a Franken car and the odometer might have rolled over (only went to 100,000 that year) so it may have 150,000 or more miles. My opinion is it is a molested car with unknown additions so my ref as a Franken car. You can buy it, but it is future problems.
i'm with the previous posts, it is a nice looking car but the milage is very suspect and the alterations are pretty much unconfirmable without some digging. one thing i would add is that if you live in an emissions controlled location the carb set up probably wont fly without some serious attention. some places have age limits for testing but not knowing where you are i am just throwing it out there.
