im guessing the trans is from a 90s car so the fly wheel is going to be a 153 tooth 10.4" fly wheel that is from a internally bal. engine that u will need look on your local craigs list or call the number i called for my car 84 383 5 speed they hooked me up. 1-800-743-2562 the name of the place is THE SPEED SHOP good luck !! actually its still not in yet. But I should get it in in about a month from now. Then I'll be worried about the trans and the stock rearend the rear is from a 1988 IROC with disc brakes with posi and a 3.73 gear.If you ever get a different gear go with the 3.73 I love it. I currentally have a TH400 in the car and it will bark the tires in 2nd and drive, one time it barked the tires going from 2nd to drive at 50 mph yes 50 I bout **** my pants. That engine of mine is a torque monster.

Won't the stock flywheel from your T-5 work on the 307 or is the problem that you have no flywheel at all?
Most Chevy flywheels and starters interchange,400 small blocks and 454 big blocks are externally balanced and have specific flywheels but the rest should swap.
I've used the flywheel and starter from a 327 on a 427 even.
