flywheel help

Default flywheel help

i am pulling the motor from a 92 Z and i cant get the flywheel off the bolt on it is different i have tried a 9/16 to small and 15 mm to big. i even tried a 12 point socket nothing fits any idea what you use??

That would be called the flex plate. Flywheel is commonly use in reference to what is used on a manual tranny.
That is the bolt that goes through to the torque converter? In the bury pic it just looks messed up. There should be "3" hex bolts. Is that a bolt or is it from a weight plug welded on the other side.

there is no spot for a hex it goes through the flexplate and has a nut on the other side, the tiny holy you see in the middle of the pic is nothing but a hole i will try to get some better pics. how can i get them off?

Loosen the nuts on the other side. I'm not totally familiar with that very flexplate, but the bolt (stud) may be a fixed part of the flexplate.

The V8 torque converts should have 3 threaded blocks that the flexplate bolts to. Should not be able to see nuts on the back side. The V6s will have brackets on the TC and you can see the nuts on the back side of them but it is welded to the bracket.
See if you can take a pic of the backside of the nut.

i can get more pics, but the back bolt is just a bolt i can put a wrench on it and it will spin, that is why i need a tool to hold the front side
