Driveshaft loop

So christmas is coming up and i was wanting to buy a friend of mine a driveshaft loop. He just built up a 355 to put in his 89 camaro and he wants to take it to the track next year. So for a driveshaft loop and i buy something like this can fab it to work?

I wanna keep the price below $50..If possible.

You can purchase made up driveshaft loops for less then $50, and avoid a lot of wok.
