Cold Start Problem
Hello, I have A 1988 iroc Camaro that will not start when the motor is cold. If i spray it with Break cleaner she will fire up with no problem, i have replaced the following items MAFS,new plugs, rebuilt fule pressure Reg, new wires, new cap and rotor. Could it be the clod start injector,,, is this injector for a cold motor start or when the weather is cold compleatly lost
could be the cold start injector, or the cold start switch. there are two sensors on the intake under the throttle body. the larger one is the temp sensor for the ecm, the smaller one is for the cold start injector. ensure that sensor is still there and plugged in. after that, take an ohm reading of the sensor cold. then run the car so it warms up and ohm it again. if the reading does not change or if it reads out of limit, replace the sensor. also, ohm across the pins of the cold start injector and see what you come up with
