Default 88 Camaro with stock 350

I have an 88 camaro with what i believe to be a stock 350 and a 700r4 tranny. Im not entirely sure what the best build is for my car. I am thinking about boring it .30 over and build it up from there. If you have any advice for me i would appreciate the it.

What exactly do you want to do with it?

im gonna try to get it to push around 13 seconds and 400 hp. I plan on doing an entire engine rebuild but im not sure exactly what i should get to make it run faster. Im going to bump up the compression and most likely get new cams.

High 13's is possible and 400 HP might be a reach.

im more worried about the time then i am the hp. I just want it to be running rough 13's for now. I plan on dropping a 454 in it in the future but not any time soon.

IF you don't spin the tires and with some decent mods you should break in the high 13's @ about 97/98mph.

Just a suggestion: Take your car to the Track and establish a baseline run before any new mods are added. After you can make a new run and check if the money and work are worth it.
