ok, did you bypass the vats system from the 91 harness? if not, thats the issue. vats cuts out the fuel i believe. you didnt mention if you swapped the ignition cylinder over. the vats bypass is easy if you still have the key, do a search on how to bypass it

did you check fuel pressure? it needs to be at least 45 psi. use a gauge, dont just press on the schrader valve. did you check for spark? a car engine will still "run" on ether even without spark. lastly, did you check the timing?

you can use a noid light to check. injectors will always have power, the computer controls the ground circuit. there is a more dangerous method and removing the fuel rail and seeing if they spray, and i really dont recomend that. to check the timing, find the line on the balancer and line it up with the timing tab, next to the power steering pump. pull the dist cap and see if it lines up with either 1 or 6. if it doesnt, the distributor is off and must be retimed. easiest method is pull the plug out of number one, and turn the engine over by hand with your finger over the spark plug hole. when it starts pushing air out forcefully, its on compression. bring the mark up on the balancer to the timing tab and the dist should be at number 1
