Default 3rd Gen Help

I want to purchase a third gen iroc-z and I want to know what to do to make it run well and sound good. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Well to make it sound good you can always throw a set of headers on it.

if your going for an IROC then go for a L98 if you can find one thats affordable to you, or atleast an LB9 with a T-5, get it running straight if its not already and put full exhaust on it, it will sound good

i personally have an 89 RS L03 all stock except an Open element and a Mac catback system, just the catback woke my 305 up on the "can you hear it running" scale, sounds pretty nice, but i will be doing headers, Y, and deleting smog in the near future to get it sounding really good(will also be swapping in an LT1 cam)

if you want it to sound aggressive/lopey/choppy your going to need to swap the cam and with that will include some head work or atleast new springs if you dont go too wild on the cam, and a tune

haha, holy crap i was putting my month at October instead of August, dang guess thats why i should be asleep at 3 AM, well let me edit my post so i can not look like such a noob lol
