Well either way.. just slapping my top end on it from the 305 will be a huge improvment from the 305 right?

it might be, i dont know what model your car is or any of the options, but some of the 3rd gens came with horrible rear ends, i mean to the point you could slap a big block behind it and it would still feel like crap, i had picked up a posi for my car a while ago to open it up and find 2.23's, assuming your gears dont suck, you'll notice one heck of a difference in the motor, as long as its running right, even with crappy gearing youll still notice it, its just weither itll be huge or not.

it's an 86 camaro.
and i have no idea what kind of rear gears are in it.. to be honest i didn't even know there were rear gears till.. yesterday? haha.. yeah..

does your car still have the sticker rpo sticker, in the center console? or the stickers on the doors sometimes had them, i dont know if 86 listed that or not as mine was missing the stickers.

My doors are from two different camaros, both different years. Junkyard doors repaired to beauty .
And the center console.. inside it is the little parts list thing that says do not remove, it's still in there.
