first off: 2.8L '85, no mods, auto - want manual...

i have read many a post of swapping tranny but the most informative thatI have seen mentioned adding the clutch pedal and making a hole in the tunnel for the shift lever. okay but then i am thinking about the ecm. it is set up for automatic and what if you just throw in a standard with out and computer changes?

any theories?
