ok i have decided that before i start modding out my car im going to get a fewthings to help it run better... i have the 2.8... i was going to try to keep cost down... what are spark plugs i can get that will give me the most power without blowing **** up?.... how can you tell if an exhaust system is nice or not? mine looks just like a cat back and souds alright but idk if its good...heres a list of what i have so far...

plugs
wires
cold air intake
possibly a new chip
sea foam

(keep in mind im not decking this thing out like ****)

i just want a tune up to get it running better and maybe some more acceleration

 

let me know who the companies are on the cold air intake and the chip

 

i have to come up with my own cold air kit but for the chip im thinking hypertech...

 

dont waste your money on a chip.go to pcmforless.com once you are done modding and they will send you a tune for your car.but its not going to do much for you unless you do some work.with what you have done a tune wont do anything for you.

 

well im not planning on really going crazy on this engine... i just want to get a little more kick till i can save up for a 454 haha

 

well id just stay close to maintenence then, you wont really get more kick out of it.

 

ya man all i gotta say is i have a 2.8 v6 in my 89 and its not gonna get that much more kick. get a 350 and work with that. its ur best bet.
