Default help with trans

hey guys i dont own a camaro, but i'm trying to help my friend out that does. she has 87 camaro 2.8 liter 5speed. she bought the car with a bad trans, to it to a guy to put a rebuilt one in. moved for a little bit. then it stopped moving. when u start the car it rattles alittle bit, but when u push the clutch in it will go away for a sec then comes back. put it in gear and will not move. the guy told her it might have a bad clutch. i thought the rattling sound. sounds like a throwout bearing / pilot bushing. i know they make noise when they go out. but i thought the car would still move, i need ur guys input on this before i tare the tranny out. see what u guys think.

Sure sounds like the clutch went. It's pretty easy to do. The clutch kits are veryresonably priced andcome complete with disc, pressure plate, pilot and release bearing. You should resurface the flywheel also.
