flooded cylinders
 

I have a 91 camaro I'm fixing up for my daughter. I have replaced the fuel pump, pressure regulator, injectors, and new rebuilt motor. But it seems to be flooding the cylinders and shuts off after a couple of minutes. Could it be a bad e.c.m?

ya sounds like the injectors wont stop flowing to me

why do you think that it is flooding cyclinders? What was originally wrong with engine for all the work that has been done?

Well had a mechanic look at it n he says the the return fuel line in the tank is plugged up. I replace all these item cause the car sat for over 5 yrs. The engine was bad n the gas went bad from sitting. So to avoid chasing problems, I replaced those items. And my daughter won't let me sell her, and fixing here is way cheaper then buying a used car with unknown problems, plus she loves this car...can't bowl her.

Can't blame her.....
