Default Camaro Z28 Berlinetta For Restore

Hi,

I was hoping for a little help on tracking down parts for an '86 2.8 V6 Camaro.

the parts needed are:

Front Springs
Front Brake Disks
Windscreen (Windshield)
Full Exhaust System (with CAT?!? These were not in the UK till the 90's) - Do I need to refit a Cat back on it?
Rear Quarter Panel Repair(Passenger Side)
Door Skins

I am having real trouble locating spares, especially the rear quarter repair panels. The boot has also rotted through where the space saver sits.

If anyone knows of a web site or a particular company or business I can approach, the information would be much appreciated as the prices I have found are $700+ for the whole rear quarter.

One other thing (forgive my ignorance), the speedo on the car only reads up to MPH, is this as fast as the car goes?

Many thanks for reading/helping, I am sure there will be plenty more questions as I try to win the battle with the tin worm who has a distinct advantage with the UK weather this car has been subjected to for 19 years.

Springs, brake rotors (disc) and exhaust or just about any of the mechanical needs can be found at summitracing.com and I know they ship internationaly. Or ****-e-BAY.
Sheet metal you might be better off buying that whole quarter for $700. You could also check classicindustries.com, nextgenparts.com or goodmarkindustries.com. Maybe at least one of them will ship international.
As for the 85mph that was to make drivers believe they could not go faster so to eliminate speeding. It was just a stupid idea around in the 80's
