They look to have the same things except the one going up to 93. That would have a few more other stuff. There's also this site 700R4 700R4 from PATC, 700 Raptor Transmission, 47RE, 47RE 48RE in case you wanted to add more power like a different motor the trans would already be built for it.

87 to 93 have an updated valve body. that should be the one you need.

Right now the main concern is getting the tranny working again I want to do a manual swap but it's not in the budget so it will have hold on while the funds build up I will be doing a shift kit

There are some internal differences between the 82 to early 87 vs later 87-up models, such as the upgraded sprag, pump, clutches and valve body. You'd want to find out which one you have. There's a reason why there are two different rebuild kits for the same "year". You would be best off contacting one of the performance transmission companies, like PATC linked above.

I know the the 84-85 and I think 86's where a nightmare with revisions. I think I still have a VHS of the 700r4 trainging video. It is hour and 30 minutes long. The first 45 minutes where on how to rebuild the tranny. The second 45 minutes was how to deal all the different revs. If this build date order this kit, if this build date order date order that kit. It normally would not be two bad but 45 minutes worth of that? Training videos are great but in this case a "if" "Then" document would have been better.

The mid 80's 700R4 and the Th440's of the same time frame made me regret having Automactic transmission rebuilding on my resume.

Good luck
