Better quality Chinese parts the reason for the higher prices..

MOOG are usually beefier if you compare them to other off-shore brands

Moog suspension parts are known for being a good quality product. That's probably the reason why they've been around for almost 60 years.

The suspension and tires are what keeps the car on the road, and you alive. Getting them from a reputable manufacturer is the only way to know they are consistently reliable. Moog is also a OEM provider to many car factories.

Just to throw this out there: I had a 2001 Mercury Cougar in my shop that I did extensive suspension work on. I needed to replace the passenger side stabilizer link, and naturally I bought Moog. After I installed it, I was sitting around eating lunch and picked up the box. I noticed the Moog label was stuck over another label. I peeled it back and it was a TRW label with the same part number.

then you probably got screwed the price difference for the moog part. they don't do that at the factory.

i think moog is about the best you can get for most applications. they have a really good warranty as well.
