I just bought a '90 RS 305 with almost 200,000 original miles. I have $1000. Where should I start my restoration. This will be my daily driver, and I plan to do all of the work myself. As far as I know it is totally stock. Also, I saw a hood for an '87 at a junk yard, will it fit my '90? Thanks for all the help. I do not have a lot of experience working on cars, but I will have plenty of help from mechanic friends willing to teach, so please break any advice down barny style. Thanks. for $1000 I would take 750 and buy a junker as your daily driver while you save up to restore the 90. I think you need to let everyone know what type of restoration you are looking at before any sound advice can be given...
