Thank you for posting this thread, I have really enjoyed it. It is temping me to put my 93 LT1 6 speed into a 92.
If you want some real motivation for your '92, you should check out a friend of mine's build, We put an LT5/T56 from a '90 ZR1 in his '89 IROC convertible. It is on the TGO forum/Members Camaros/LT5 IROC.

Making progress. Exterior is finished less the diffuser and rear hatch. I’m going to install the carpet and headliner before the hatch.

I drove it for the first time today. I will debut it at the Pacific Northwest Camaro Show on Sunday, July 16th.
