im not too sure I found a harness on ebay I just asked the guy what it goes too. hopefully he answers soon. but if I had to guess maybe a light a 3rd brake light maybe

did your light on the trim cover have a switch it might went to that

I have no idea I'm just now really getting into the car and trying to iron out some of the little bugs

ok i looked around for pictures and found this Camaro Firebird Trans Am Hatch Trunk Pull Down Motor Light Switch Works Good | eBay its a peice that goes on top of the trim panel

Can I just delete the motor out since its not working or will the hatch not lock properly

And where can I get those plastic wing nuts that bolts the taillight to the car I checked my local auto store and no one had them are they a special order item?
