3rd Gen Dash Conversion

I am wondering if anyone has done a dash conversion in a 3rd Gen Camaro. The dash looks quite old in these cars, and is often in pretty bad condition - is it possible to do a full swap (dash pad, gauge cluster - everything) to something else - later model Camaro, Corvette etc?

Taking the dash out and replacing it is child's play- it's held in by a total of 8 screws, and as long as you're careful with the new one it goes in almost as easily as it comes out.

But a conversion I imagine would be quite a bit more difficult as they wouldn't match up properly right away. You are talking just the dash pad, right?

I am talking about the whole dash assembly, the dash pad, gauge cluster, air con vents, centre console - everything.

Taking a dash out and replacing it with a new stock on isn't hard, but the Camaro dash looks and feels old, and they are often a little worse for wear, so I was having a thought about whether it would be possible to replace it with something newer. Obviously I don't want it to be a complete nightmare to fit.
