Default Wiring diagram/locations guide

I'll be starting my project and completely stripping down the Camaro in Sept or Oct this year once our house gets built (yay for my own garage!) and I am gathering up as much information as I can before the project.

I want to completely strip the interior of everything including the dash and all wiring to start sandblasting, cleaning, painting, dynomatting and then installation of new wiring harness from the donor car. The interior has been gutted and sitting in the elements for years...it's mega dirty! The problem is I need a good wiring diagram with detailed locations (pictures preferred) of what wires go where from the factory harness. So then I can adapt the new donor vehicle's wiring harness accordingly once I get a wiring diagram from that vehicle as well.

I've used the search button for "wiring diagram" and after 5 pages or so I've found nothing. Surely there has to be something out there.

P.S. Oh and my Chilton's manual is rubbish when it comes to the pictures so that's out.

Alldata wont have pics of actual installed harness, just wiring diagrams. If you are going to buy another car just as a donor then take a lot of pics when you tear it apart.

^what he said. on a car so old, not even online sources will have what you need. alldata barely has any info on my car. if you have a donor car, then do all the media blasting and prep before removing the wiring from the donor car. usually with it being so old, it will be permenantly shaped to the way it will need to go

Alldata, or even better, a Factory Service Manual. The FSM is easier to follow than Alldata, but more expensive.

What you need is an assembly manual. That will show you how the harness is ran in the car and all the mounting points.
