window motor..

Default window motor..

yes, im so excited! its close to time for me to replace a window motor!!! YAY!!! questions.. how do i get that door panel off the top? i know how to get it on the sides and bottom... but what about the top? im in a loss for it without breakin something.. lemme know. Then theres that plastic, what do i do with that? just pull it off and trash it? or can it be peeled back?

If I remeber correctly the door panel comes off the top of the door shell after all the clips and screws are undone. As for the plastic, I try not to rip it and retapeit back after the repairwith thin strips of duct tape or you can use body caulking used by body shops.

i tried to just pull it off, but theres something still holding it on when i take the clips off the sides and bottom.. what am i forgetting?

Did you remove the screws from the arm rest? I believe they might be torq heads.

yea, i had those 3 out, and all the switches out of their location and dangleing there. It seems like something was holding the top on still. ill mess around with it sometime and let yall know

I'm trying to think, when I had mine off to do my outer door handles after everything was loosened I think I just rolled down the window and pushed up on the door panel.
