Wheels and tyres
Hi,
I am presently waiting for my 85 Camaro to come back from the paint shop and have decided to I would like to put some nice wheels on the car instead of the stock steel ones that are fitted. On my car they are nasty tiny 14" wheels and I know other Camaros had 15" wheels but what I want to know can I go bigger and wider without any modifications?
If so can some one give me the measurements as I have seen some nice wheels on a British site but need the offset and stud measurements etc so the can build the wheels for me.
If I cant go bigger than the 15" can some one give me the sizes so I can get the 15" wheels made.
Also tire sizes for the the wheels would be great also.
As I am in Scotland its not that easy to track down this information, any help would be great.
Ther will be more questions soon, an engine and transmission swap is in the plans for the winter months.
Cheers
Chris

You dont need to have them custom made.....all Camaro's(well most of them) have a 5 lug pattern...so all you would have to do is find some RWD wheels with a 5 lug pattern....I dont kno the exact measurements but if you wanted to know bad enough...you might try going to a tire shop and ask for some advice.......unless anybody in here might know...
