If you mean street legal as defined by some race sanctioning body, it means that the car must be legally registered and licensed for street use in your state.

I've heard you can run wrinkle walls on the road .... Although, I am not sure why you'd want to. But just for the curiousityou .. Is that true or false ? Can you or can you not run wrinkle wall tires or any other racing slick tire? South Carolina - no inspection for smog.

-thanks Chris

you can run grad radails, but they have to be DOT approved. i dont know of ANY exceptions. any and all tires on a street legal car must be DOT approved. to my knowledge..
