JUST GOT A DASH IN MINT/LIKE NEW CONDITION.WANT TO PROTECT IT WHAT CAN I USE THAT IS BEST.

 

Im not sure of a good product.. but DO NOT USE ARMOUR ALL!!!!! its in fact dries out your plastic and vynal and makes it crack. not to mention the sticky mess it leaves behind

 

i use son of a gun protectant, its sorta like armor all but i like it better. you can get it at walmart, comes in a yellow spray bottle.

 

DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU LIVE YOU MAY WANT TO GET A DASH COVER. THATS WHAT WE HAVE ON OUR CAMAROS. THE AZ SUN IS PRETTY BRUTAL.

 

get a cover!!! i used armor all once on my dash and the next day i had to use the defrost and five cracks between an inch and 6 inches long appeared!!! [:@]

 

WHERE DO YOU LIVE? iF THERES LOT OF SUN LIKE HERE IN AZ I WOULD SUGGEST A DASH COVER TO BLOCK THE SUN.

 

Actually nothing, because of the age of the material the dash is made of it is breaking down and causing cracks. You can try prevention, but it will crack in time. The corners are the most likely areas.

Get one of those sun shades for your windshields. It'll keep the interior of your car somewhat cooler and reduce the amount of heat stress all around.

Just don't try to drive it with the thing in place
