upper strut mounts

RE: upper strut mounts
I think you have to buy the whole assembly. It looks as if the rubber is all molded to it. Its been a while since I had any apart.
If any one does make a bearing where you can atke the mount apart and rep[lace the bearing and rubber inside I would like to know. I need two! Other than that Monroe makes the whole assemblyfor around $65 each.

RE: upper strut mounts
I have found my strut mounts on autopartswarehouse.com for $56.00each and for struts I found a new set of all 4 on ebay for $99.99 they are the monroe brand. not too shabby if you ask me. I am all ways looking for parts so I always know the cheapest prices on just about anything with my camaro. hope this helps.

RE: upper strut mounts
I just got some strut mounts for around $58 each. They are the monroe brand. Well one box was monroe and the other had a different name but I like the other brand. The monroe had one big hole for the mounts and was supplied with fender washers. YUCK! And just an oppinion. I have never had good luck with monroe shocks and struts. KYB's have always treated me well.

RE: upper strut mounts
ill worry about them probably next spring. Ill rotate the tires. replaced the mount, and redo my alignment. Lucky for me, my dad works for Hunter and i can align all my stuff for free. Includeing tire mounting, balancing, road forceing. I can do it all. hell, i could even turn my rotors and drums for free. I need to replace both of my front rotors though. i noticed quiet a bit of rust on the back of one of them. Musta sat for awhile
